THE SILENT BEAUTY

“Red is the rose that in yonder garden grows

Fair is the lily of the valley…”

You may all recognise that the quote stated above is from the lyrics of an Irish song named “Red is the rose”. Though I have heard many different versions of this beautiful melody, The High Kings’ performance is my most favourite one. Their voices can express the melancholy inside the song in a wonderful manner and almost like a chant (you know what I mean).

What can be the best gift for a modern lady? Some say diamond, other says flower and I say bralette <3. As my friend is getting married this Saturday, I want to make her a DIY bridal gift. This lovely tiny thing can be a part of her sweet memory of the honeymoon or some thing like that :).

Here you can find a step by step process of making bralette using simple sewing technique and ordinary materials. Wish you all a very happy holiday!

10 BEST DIY BLOGS TO DIG IN

As I’m a little bit crazy about DIY projects lately, my Speeddial on Chrome is now full of wonderful websites that I can not wait to share with everyone. After surfing a lot to find inspiration for my next project (as you can see in my photo at the end of this post), I note for myself 10 following blogs which are the most suitable tastes for me.

I will write them down so people who have the same hobby can share the enjoyable moments these blogs bring to me.

Here are 10 brilliant candidates 🙂

1. FREE PEOPLE

As we all know, “Free people” is a women clothing brand. Their products are adorable as well as affordable. Furthermore, they have a unique blog where we can find many trendy posts about style, fashion, decoration, and DIY.

LEFTOVERS: A FORGOTTEN DREAM

WEEKLY WRITING CHALLENGE: LEFTOVERS

My favourite furniture in the room is a little wooden bookcase with glass doors and mint-colored panels. This is where my research books, souvenirs and many unnamed things are stored. Early this morning, when I saw the topic of this week writing challenge, I decided to explore what is the thing was left behind.

And here it is:

Some stickers of my handmade shop opened when I was a young student.

OIL PAINTING 101

Finally, I have finished my first oil painting sooner than I thought. It took me a whole day long but the result is really worth a try. My boy friend helped me with the background cause I have not figured out how to make the light more realistic. I enjoyed all the oil colours sticked on my hands. It was fun, trust me 🙂
