THE GOLDEN FLOWER

I guess I am a kind of conservative person who love to keep some conventional habits within the modern day lifestyle. During the Tet holiday, people in the North decorate their houses with blush flower called “hoa Đào” and people in the South have a golden flower for this purpose and it is named “hoa Mai”.

The cold of the North gave birth to the delicate “hoa Đào” which has small petals in many shades of pink. On the other hand, “hoa Mai” was dyed by the vivid sunlight of the South so everyone could feel the warmth of a peaceful and welcome land.

This beautiful tree which is full of golden flowers was bought by my parents at the Bình Đông pier with a reasonable price. If you live in Vietnam, you will soon learn how to live sufficiently without paying too much money on expensive goods.

I know there are many people think that our land is one of the worst places to live. However, there is nothing in this world which is not twofold, one is good and one is bad. Should we let one dominate other while we do not have ample experiences in each side?

Wishing you all a prosperous year to come with diverse achievements as you are expected. With love ❤
