The late artist Trần Hữu Trí (1954 – 2013) has an memorable exhibition at HCM city Art Assembly from 6th November to 12th November. He was a passionate person in life as well as in fine art. His friends can not forget his fervently heart and talented hands. He was an artist, a father, a teacher and a respectable man.
I’m pleased to introduce some of his beautiful paintings among 30 works in the exhibition (you can click on circles to see the enlarged version of each painting).
This painting is my most favourite one, a red water-buffalo with white horns and green eyes. The colors is so strong which represents the impressionist, the subject is an Vietnamese cultural symbol. It is really a combination of local tradition and world trend.
